There hasn’t been much going on with Alexis of late. I think she’s still filming Violet and Daisy, but I don’t know for sure.

I have not forgotten about the site! I will probably update with screencaps and old appearances soon. I’ve got exam next week, but after that I will be free. (:

I would like to wish Alexis a happy 28th birthday! She deserves everything she gets and I am sure her acting and modelling careers will continue to grow in every positive way possible!
The gallery has been updated with mroe pictures form the Saks event, and there will be a big gallery update soon. I currently have exams to study for. xP

“Post Grad” has had its Los Angeles premiere today, I can’t find any pictures as yet, but according to many sources, it was on today! I’ll add pictures as soon as I find them.
I have also added “Post Grad” stills to the gallery.

I have updated the “Important Dates” with more need-to know dates! Don’t forget to watch the shows, I especially can’t wait for when she visits It’s On with Alexa Chung! Her “Post Grad” co-star, Zach Gilford will also visit Alexa Chung the day before!

15. From Julie Achermann: Now that Gilmore Girls is over and you’ve appeared in some great movies, what do you prefer, being part of a movie or a television show? Which one requires a harder work?
A: Julie,
There are great things about both; when you’re on a show, you have consistent work for a while, which is great. When you’re going from movie to movie, you get to enjoy a fresh start at the beginning of each job, which is also nice. Both require hard work, but television show schedules are typically more demanding.

16. From Lucia: Out of all the characters you have played, which can you relate to the most?
A: Lucia,
I can relate to all of them a little bit.

17. from Esme: Which movie/t.v. show was the most fun to shoot and why?
A: Esme,
Sin City was fun because it was so different from other work I’ve done, and I just worked on an independent film called The Good Guy last summer; that one was fun because we shot it in New York City with a great group of people.

A: Joanne,
Some of my most recently favorite movies are Children of Men and The Motorcycle Diaries. Mad Men is a great show. Does anyone remember Perfect Strangers or Mr. Belvedere from the eighties? Those were some of my favorites when I was a kid. And I loved The Cosby Show.

20. From Tamara: What is one of your favorite episodes of Gilmore Girls and why?
A: Tamara,
My favorite episode is the first one, the pilot. I’m not sure why, maybe it makes me sentimental in a way, it was my first acting job, and in it are the first few scenes Lauren and I shot together with seven years of working closely to follow.

Alexis recently did an interview and photoshoot with Women’s Wear Daily. She looks completely different, and like she says in the interview, its nice to see her in something different. Check out the photoshoot and interview below.

“I try to get away from the way people see me on the show in little ways, try to dress older or just differently,” says the brunette—all Madame Alexander–doll skin and pool blue eyes—who moved from Los Angeles to Brooklyn last fall. “I try not to wear anything that makes me look too young because that only aggravates the idea that I’m young and sweet like my character on [Gilmore Girls].”
And recently, there have been signs that Bledel is testing fashion’s grown-up waters. The décolletage-bearing Hervé Léger dress paired with Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator heels, for example, which she wore to the Whitney Museum’s annual Art Party in June, made a seriously sexy statement.
As did the black Cushnie et Ochs shift with wide side cutouts and swirly Sergio Rossi sandals she chose for the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her indie film The Good Guy several weeks prior.
Not to mention the Eighties-inspired threads and look-at-me accessories she sports on these pages. “It was a fun fantasy day for me,” she says of the shoot, adding: “It’s stuff I don’t wear that often. I usually wear jeans and button-ups.”
