Alexis did an interview with Metro. She talks about doing more grown up roles and not playing teenagers. You can read it here Here is a snippet.

Alexis Bledel rushes out of a SoHo restaurant and down the street trying to find a quiet spot for our phone chat. “I’m at an ill-timed lunch, I’m sorry I didn’t plan my day well,” apologizes the actress.
The scheduling mix-up wasn’t a result of partying all night at Tenjune, where her latest film, “The Good Guy,” held its after-party the night before. “I only stayed for an hour because I only have a small window for work parties — wait, that sounds terrible, we had a really good time,” she clarifies.

Alexis had an interview with “Vulture” recently. You can read the article here. TOMORROW is the premiere of “The Good Guy”! Here is an excerpt from the interview, its too long to post it xD

You always seem to play the quiet, intellectual girl. Is that true to your personality?Yeah, maybe. I’m definitely not a very outgoing person.

Have you spent much time in New York since attending NYU?
I’m going back and forth to L.A., but I might make a permanent move here soon. For now, I’m just shuttling back and forth and gradually becoming more of a New Yorker. But when I do go back to L.A., I can really appreciate the sunshine and being outdoors and the people there, and then I don’t resent New York as much in the winter. And Texas, where I’m from, is just a complete departure from both.

The film deals with the socially competitive culture of guys on Wall Street. Have you ever experienced a similarly competitive culture among girls?
Women are so competitive with clothes, especially in New York. And with work. A lot of people take their work away from the office. That work culture spills over into their social lives, and the more people work, the more they can’t leave it. It can be destructive.

Do you have any Broadway aspirations? Have you ever done theater?
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about that. I’ve gone to see five or six plays in the last couple months. I saw August: Osage County, and of course Lauren Graham in Guys and Dolls. I hadn’t seen a lot of shows since I was a kid, so I’ve been kind of reeducating myself and it’s been a lot of fun.

Do you keep in touch with any of your Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars? Are you a Gossip Girl fan, or a fan of Ugly Betty?
I don’t have a TV. But I’ve definitely kept in touch with all the girls. We’re all in New York now, which is great, and everyone’s working really hard, so we just see each other when we can. But I keep in touch with all of them, and Lauren. Every job you do you meet new people.

Alexis has done a photoshoot for Glamour Magazine: American Icons! She posed as Rosie the Riveter. I added the picture to the gallery. Below is the caption.

In 1942 the U.S. government commissioned the “We Can Do It!” poster, which featured an image of a character who became known as Rosie the Riveter. Her biceps-revealing shirtsleeves and determined look were meant to motivate American women to step out of the kitchen and into the factory to replace the men who had been pressed into service during World War II. And millions did just that, paving the way for us to pull down paychecks more than 60 years later.

“She’s a symbol of women getting things done. It shows that strength is beautiful.”—Alexis Bledel, 27, of this summer’s comedy Post Grad

Actress Alexis Bledel, who starred for seven years as Rory Gilmore on the “Gilmore Girls,” is currently back on the big screen in the sequel to the hit “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”

In the sequel, aptly titled “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” Bledel reprises her role as Lena Kaligaris.

Celebrity News Service also believes that Bledel has reprised her role as the “kissing bandit.” It seems that every time Bledel is in front of the cameras, she gets to kiss her handsome male co-stars.

In “Traveling Pants” she locks lips with her Greek lover Kostas, played by Michael Rady, but the kissing doesn’t stop there.

Travel back to Star’s Hollow, the happy fictional town that was home to the “Gilmore Girls,” and you can see that Rory has one main pastime – and it’s not eating at Luke’s Diner. No, it’s kissing every boy in town.

She started with Dean, her first boyfriend played by Jared Padalecki, who now stars on “Supernatural.” Then she spent two seasons locking lips with Jess Mariano, played by “Heroes” star Milo Ventimiglia. In real life Alexis also dated Ventimiglia, so the kissing continued off-screen.

Alexis didn’t stop with just kissing two handsome stars, but went on to smooch with Matt Czuchry, who played rich boy Logan Huntzberger.

If you still aren’t sure if Alexis holds the title for kissing then head over to YouTube to see what fans think. There is one YouTube site dedicated to Jess and Rory that is called “Speaking In Tongues” and features nothing but clips of the two of them kissing, and kissing, and well, more kissing.
