In other news, the lovely Paola from Gala Films (which is producing The Kate Logan Affair) has been in contact with me and has told me that location shoots are finished and have now moved to studio and closed sets. Filming finishes on Sunday, and believes that Alexis will be doing some sightseeing up here before heading home. Most likely to start shooting The Conspirator.

The scene shot last Wednesday in Chambly occurs early in the film. “It’s a scene that allows us to have elements of understanding the character, a young policewoman, Kate Logan,” according to Noel Mitrani. “This is a very proud person who does not like to be at fault.”

Why Alexis Beldel? “I needed an actress who does more than adolescence, and less than adulthood. It’s very difficult to find. When I found Alexis, she was still in this interim period, which lasts very little in a woman where she was a little innocence of youth, but it is not yet a woman. ”

Who is Kate Logan? “This is a young policewoman who loves the idea of being an authority figure, but it is not very down to earth. At first, she accidentally stops a man who resembles a wanted criminal, but she must let go, and they meet again … The story evolves from there, but I’m not supposed to talk about … “

I actually live in Chambly and almost next to the filming site. They are filming at a motel, and i noticed that they had changed the motel sign so i took a picture of it. it’s kinda bad because i was driving at the same time… they’ve been here for almost a week now, i think they will be paking up soon!

So to an American actress that production turned to the role of Kate Logan. Alexis Bledel, revealed by his role in Gilmore Girls, has quickly established. “I wanted an actress with one hand and a woman young side. I saw a dozen girls, but when I saw Alexis, I knew this would be it. I was lucky that she likes the project, “he said.
“She has just entered the police, works in a small town and stops a man she takes for a criminal (Laurent Lucas) ,” says Alexis Bledel.

Located in a resort in Canada limited the action of “The Kate Logan Affair” tells the story of Benedict Gando (Lucas), a French framework working in the insurance stopped by Kate Logan (Bledel), a young policewoman who is taken for a wanted rapist. Annoyed that he reveals his mistake to his superiors, Kate tries to seduce Benedict which succumbs to his advances. Benedict has no idea where the path leads this innocent flirtation and realizes he is caught in a relentless machine that not only plunged into a terrible situation but also change his life forever.

I can’t wait for the movie to come out, and fingers-crossed we will be able to get on set pictures! The movie will be distributed internationally(!) by Séville/E1 Movies Entertainment Canada.

The Kate Logan Affair is about a young psychologically unstable young police woman named Kate Logan and a married Frenchman who find themselves caught up in a dramatic twisted affair.

There is also more news on Sin City 2! MTV talked to actor Clive Owen (who played Dwight in Sin City) about the film. Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m hearing it might be next year,” Owen told MTV News. “I heard that from a very good source… recently.”
However, Owen wouldn’t reveal where he heard the news (“Maybe one of them,” he grinned, when asked if it was Miller or Rodriguez), and he didn’t let fans’ hopes get too carried away. According to the actor, he hasn’t read a script for the film yet.
“I had a great time on the first one. It was a stunning film,” said Owen. ” I think it was an absolutely extraordinary achievement, what [Rodriguez] did with that film. It is a genuinely original movie.”
