I have been extremely busy over the past couple of days and only just have some time now to update on Alexis news. She hasn’t been around much lately, I’m guessing she’s filming The Conspiratior although I’m not sure.
However, some news has come up regarding Sin City 2!
Mania.com spoke to producer Stephen L’Heureux who talked about the production of Sin City 2. He also mentions Sin City 3 may be in production soon (IMDB have put up for release in 2012, not sure if this is correct not).

L’Heureux confirmed for us that the long-awaited sequel ‘Sin City 2′ will go into production in the second half of 2010. Unlike the first movie, which used the graphic novels as both screenplay and story boards, the sequel will be based on an original script by Miller. As with the original, Miller will co-direct with Robert Rodriguez.
“As simple as ‘Sin City’ seems, it’s a very complex scheduling with all these actors and it’s a very demanding shoot to be on a sound stage all day long,” L’Heureux told us. “We have to space it for Frank. There’s also talk, of course, of ‘Sin City 3′.”

In the last update, I also failed to give credit to dizzygirl for the photos from the set of The Conspirator! I completely forgot until she reminded me. She has also posted a video, which you can watch here of Alexis on set. You can barely see her, but it’s worth watching!

Gilmore Girls News just pointed out that Alexis will be filming The Kate Logan Affair. According to Heidi Levitt, the casting director, filming should’ve started this month already or will be starting next month in Montreal, Canada. The interview that Alexis mentioned the filming was posted on this site way back when the interview was posted on PopStar‘s site, but I never got time to read it. How unfortunate

The Kate Logan Affair is about a young psychologically unstable young police woman named Kate Logan and a married Frenchman who find themselves caught up in a dramatic twisted affair.

There is also more news on Sin City 2! MTV talked to actor Clive Owen (who played Dwight in Sin City) about the film. Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m hearing it might be next year,” Owen told MTV News. “I heard that from a very good source… recently.”
However, Owen wouldn’t reveal where he heard the news (“Maybe one of them,” he grinned, when asked if it was Miller or Rodriguez), and he didn’t let fans’ hopes get too carried away. According to the actor, he hasn’t read a script for the film yet.
“I had a great time on the first one. It was a stunning film,” said Owen. ” I think it was an absolutely extraordinary achievement, what [Rodriguez] did with that film. It is a genuinely original movie.”

I’ve uploaded the scans to the recent issue of Envy Magazine, thanks to my friend Karanbir, to the gallery. Also added is the screencaps to “Sin City”, the 2005 movie in which Alexis stars as Becky. Alexis’ eyes are very prominent since its a black and white movie and her blue eyes are the only colour on her. MTV had a talk with Alexis and “Post Grad” co-star, Zach Gilford, and they’ve been told that the script for Sin City 2 is complete and Alexis’ character will be back.

Though she’s not sure when the film will move forward, actress Alexis Bledel has been told that the script for “Sin City 2” is complete and that this one is going to be a prequel, at least as far as her character is concerned.
“Someone told us yesterday that there’s a script,” Bledel’s “Post Grad” co-star Zach Gilford told MTV News during a chat with the pair.
“I don’t know what their source was,” added Alexis, “but they said they read the second script. … Apparently, [I’m] back because it’s a prequel. Because [I’m] supposed to die in the first one. But you don’t see it, so maybe she doesn’t.”
