Rumoured Project is “Timeless”

This is pretty old news but IMDB recently added Timeless, a movie directed by Michael Bartlett, to Alexis’ page. Through my mini research, I found an article by Quiet Earth reviewing the script. Bartlett talks about wanting Alexis to play the female lead, Angel.

There are two strong, but very different female leads. The first, Angel, is your classic “Daisy” character. She’s “the one that got away” who Warren loves, but can’t help but pull into his cycle of violence.

Actually, one thing Michael did speak to me about, was his desire to sign Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls, Post Grad) in the lead role of Angel. He told me that based on how she has been type-cast with such similar roles in TV and film, it would be a perfect opportunity for her to move away towards an edgier project. I have to tell you – based on the script – I think it would indeed be a win-win situation for both Timeless and Bledel, not to mention us fan-boys who would all love to see her in something like this.

Alexis in “SAD”?

Actor Corey Haim recently died, and MTV composed a list of his projects that he was attached to. Corey wanted Alexis to play his character’s wife in one of them, and director Tim Vogel says that the prject will still go forward- possible project for Alexis?

SAD (Standard American Diet)
“It’s an anti-FDA piece about the American diet; the story is based on current events. Corey was going to play the part of a chemical engineer,” said director/writer/producer Tim Vogel, explaining that Haim was trying to get Alexis Bledel to appear as his wife in the “Fast Food Nation”-like project. “We tried to get him down here last fall to shoot some scenes for a trailer, but it never materialized. … We’re moving forward with ‘SAD.’ It’s still a timely piece that needs to be told. Corey will be in our hearts and memories, and we’ll dedicate the film to Corey. He would’ve been perfect for the role. He was really coming around.”

“The Good Guy” Press Junket Videos

I haven’t updated in a while, since I had no access to internet, but now I do and there’s not much going on with Alexis at the moment besides the release of The Good Guy late last month.
