“The Good Guy” trailer

The Good Guy was released in late April last year at the Tribeca Film Festival, and a short clip from the movie was also released but finally the trailer has arrived! As I’ve said before, the movie will be released 19th February in the US. I can’t wait until the movie is released!

Ambitious young Manhattanite and urban conservationist Beth (Alexis Bledel) wants it all: a good job, good friends, and a good guy to share the city with. Of course that last one is often the trickiest of all. In the new romantic dramedy THE GOOD GUY, Beth falls hard for Tommy (Scott Porter), a sexy, young Wall Street hot-shot. But just as everything seems to be falling into place, complications arise in the form of Tommy’s sensitive and handsome co-worker Daniel (Bryan Greenberg). Beth soon learns that the game of love in the big city is a lot like Wall Street – high risk, high reward and everybody has an angle.

2002 Events Finished

I have finished adding pictures from all of Alexis’ public appearances in 2002! 2002 was the year that Tuck Everlasting was released, therefore many of the appearances were of Alexis promoting the movie.
We now have over 33, 000 photos in our gallery which makes our gallery probably the largest one dedicated to Alexis! Nopte that I’m only posting links to albums that I updated today. I still have to add photos from other years as well. ;)

“Gilmore Girls”, a top show

Gilmore Girls has been named one of the top 10 shows of the decade by the Canadian Press. This is what they had to say about the 7-year tunning show:

“Gilmore Girls” (2000-2007) – The argument from “Gilmore Girls” skeptics about why they don’t like the show is almost always the same: real people don’t talk like that. And no, the breakneck babble shared between every character on the beloved WB program, like something torn from a ’40s screwball comedy, is not realistic. Neither is Stars Hollow, the cosy, impossibly idyllic Connecticut hamlet where the show takes place, filled as it is with unanimously quirky, lovingly drawn characters. And of course, that’s also what makes the whipsmart family drama such a rare joy. Single mother Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her precocious daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel), are such meticulously drawn characters that, after seven seasons, they feel like old friends: each triumph and mistake truly resonates. And while the mother-daughter duo’s Mamet-esque crackerjack chats flash by, life unspools slowly, as the Gilmores confront professional disappointment, relationships that unravel with no easy answers as to why and toxic familial situations that ultimately prove impossible to escape. So while the pair’s nimble nattering might not sound real, the show’s slow-burning focus on the frustrations and joys of everyday life was a revelation. “Gilmore Girls” is the ultimate comfort-food television.

Gilmore Girls was also named one of the top 10 shows of the decade as well by Entertainment Weekly!

Thank you, fast-talking Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, for suggesting moms and teenage daughters really can get along — all it takes is love, patience, and copious quantities of coffee.
