Name: Alexis Bledel
Age: 29
Neighborhood: Brooklyn
Occupation: Actress. She’ll be appearing Off Broadway in Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the Westside Theatre starting today, January 12, through February 13.Who’s your favorite New Yorker, living or dead, real or fictional?
John Lennon. When I think about all the things that were going on in this city during the nine years he lived here, there’s an energy that stands out having to do with the message of peace he so powerfully sent out into the world. What’s the best meal you’ve eaten in New York?
Brick-oven pizza. So delicious, charred crisp and light, just with garlic, ricotta cheese, and fresh basil at Lucali, or olive oil, arugula, and prosciutto at Otto. John’s of Bleecker Street … everything on the menu is good. Roberta’s is also amazing. In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
I pretend to be someone else, taking part in a collaborative storytelling endeavor. What was your first job in New York?
A shoot for Seventeen magazine, when I was 14. It was a hair-and-makeup piece, and I ended up with a rather peculiar set of stringy dreadlocks.

It’s great to see Alexis exploring new projects in different fields. I can’t wait to hear more details about this.
Also, the supposed twitter account @iamAlexisBledel is fake. Just thought I should give a heads up.
There hasn’t been much going on with Alexis of late. I think she’s still filming Violet and Daisy, but I don’t know for sure.
Although, Alexis did recently join Twitter. You can follow her @iamAlexisBledel and our site @alexisbledelfan.
I have not forgotten about the site! I will probably update with screencaps and old appearances soon. I’ve got exam next week, but after that I will be free. (:
Thank you so much to Danielle for choosing Alexis Fan as the November Site of the Month at Colin Egglesfield Online. I appreciate this immensely!
Please visit C-EO and check out their site for the latest update on Colin. He is currently working on Something Borrowed and I can’t wait to see it, since I’ve read this book a while back.

Alexis and Gilmore Girls co-star, Lauren Graham got together in February for Entertainment Weekly‘s Reunion issue.
I’ve added two lots of photos of Alexis on set of Violet & Daisy. Sorry for the delay, capped internet was the problem. The last four photos from this set, is credited to Gilmore Girls News.
Alexis has completed a film titled Girl Walks Into a Bar which will be distributed for free online. Alexis will play an exotic dancer.
With thanks to Gilmore News for the heads up, you can take a look at the press release here.
Girl Walks Into a Bar connects a group of apparent strangers over one night across 10 bars throughout Los Angeles. Zachary Quinto stars as a dentist who teams up with a feisty would-be assassin (Carla Gugino) to put the final touches on the plan to kill his wife. Once he makes a play for the assassin’s payment, he unknowingly sets off a chain of events that fuels a cross-town journey through the many lounges, bars, strip clubs and the occasional nudist ping pong club scattered across Los Angeles. Along the way, we are introduced to a series of idiosyncratic characters, from gangsters (Danny DeVito) to exotic dancers (Emmanuelle Chriqui, Alexis Bledel), from ex-cons (Robert Forster) to cops (Josh Hartnett, Gil Bellows), with the odd hatcheck girl (Rosario Dawson) and bartender (Amber Valletta) thrown in for good measure.
