The world premiere of Violet & Daisy was held yesterday at the Toronto International Film Festival and our girl was in attendance. I’ve added 70+ photos from the premiere to the gallery as well as some lovely images from the portrait session.

It’s a show of celebrity readings and performances saluting women making history. The star-studded gala, hosted by Rebecca Romijn, will benefit the National Women’s History Museum in Washington, D.C.

Her Love, Loss, And What I Wore co-stars, Nikki Blonksy & Pauletta Washington also attended the celebration. According to @lovelossonstage, Alexis’ Sisterhood co-star, America Ferrera was also there.

Brick-oven pizza. So delicious, charred crisp and light, just with garlic, ricotta cheese, and fresh basil at Lucali, or olive oil, arugula, and prosciutto at Otto. John’s of Bleecker Street … everything on the menu is good. Roberta’s is also amazing.

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
I pretend to be someone else, taking part in a collaborative storytelling endeavor.

What was your first job in New York?
A shoot for Seventeen magazine, when I was 14. It was a hair-and-makeup piece, and I ended up with a rather peculiar set of stringy dreadlocks.

It has been announced that Alexis has joined the Off Broadway show of Love, Loss, and What I Wore.

Former Gilmore Girls star Bledel will head up the cast from January 12 through February 13, joining previously announced co-stars Pauletta Washington, Anita Gillette and Judy Gold. An additional cast member will be announced at a later date.
